Baby Sign Language Mealtime Signs
Use simple baby signs during meals, snacks, cups, nursing, bottles, and cleanup so your child can ask for more, milk, eat, drink, help, and all done.

Start with the signs meals already repeat
Mealtime is one of the easiest places to start baby sign language because the same words happen many times a day. A baby or toddler can learn that more means another bite, milk means a familiar drink, and all done means the meal is finished.
Say the word while you sign, then respond to the message. Early signs may be approximate. The goal is not perfect form first. The goal is useful communication inside a warm routine.
More, milk, eat, drink, all done
These signs solve the biggest snack, bottle, nursing, cup, and high-chair moments.
Please, thank you, help, want
Model these when you offer choices, pass food, or help with a spoon, cup, bib, or container.
Water, snack, apple, banana, cracker
Add favorite foods after your child understands the basic mealtime signs.
