The ASL Kids app:

  • Does not collect personally identifiable information (such as name, email address, or contact details) directly from users.
  • Does not use analytics software that tracks users across apps or websites.
  • Does not collect precise geographic location data.

However, the app uses third-party services (see Section 3) that may collect limited technical data as described below.

SECTION 2 – In-App Purchases

The ASL Kids app contains optional In-App Purchases to unlock additional content.

These purchases are handled securely by the platform providers (Google Play and Apple App Store). We do not collect or store any payment information.

SECTION 3 – Advertising

The ASL Kids app includes advertising on Android devices through Google AdMob.

AdMob may collect and process limited technical data, such as:

  • Device information (e.g. device type, OS version)
  • General location data (non-precise, e.g. country level)
  • Ad interaction data

We have configured AdMob to comply with Google Play Families policies and applicable laws such as COPPA:

  • Ads are child-directed
  • Personalized ads are disabled
  • Only age-appropriate ads are shown

SECTION 4 – Links Within the App

The ASL Kids app:

  • Does not contain external links accessible to children
  • Does not link to social media from within the child experience

Any external links (if present) are placed behind a parental gate.

ASL Kids is committed to protecting user privacy and complying with relevant regulations such as COPPA.

We implement the following measures:
